Yesterday was Kaida's 2 month doctors appointment. Aside from the incredible trauma of shots, it went well. I suppose we aren't surprised she can scream like that, but wow, it was pretty intense. We just keep telling ourselves we would rather her suffer through the shots than the diseases they prevent. Anyway, our little lady is growing like a weed, which we knew, but now have the official numbers to back it up. She is now:

12 lbs
23 inches

which is pretty big since that is the upper limit for both weight and height of 0-3 month clothes. Just so you don't have to check, she is, in fact, only 2 months now. So she is wearing a lot of 3-6 month clothes and many of them fit her quite well, especially the pants with her big cloth diapered butt :) And speaking of cloth diapers, when we decided that was the route we wanted to go we started our research and found that there was a certain diaper that was the best for newborns. They are supposed to last for the first 3 months and go up to 15lbs but unfortunately for us, she outgrew them a couple of weeks ago and we sent them back (we were renting them) and are now getting our bigger set that should last until potty training. We love cloth diapers. Like seriously love. Maybe that will be another post :) Anyway, the point is, our little lady is growing quite well and is very healthy, which we are very thankful for.
